Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) was an American actor from the United States. His acting career started with TV acting roles, notably Opposite Sext in 2000. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has also been featured in version of graphic novels in film as well as comics, including TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) along with Endgame 2019 brought him greater recognition. He was one of the top-paid actors around the globe due to his role in the Marvel franchise.
